With the advent of minimally invasive surgery, which has become an integral part of thoracic surgical oncology nowadays, not just in India but all over the world, there is a need for more training specifically aimed at the minimally invasive surgery. More insurance companies in India need to accept robotic surgery as an integral part of oncology management, and that has to be reimbursed.
