Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) are a formidable group of 20 diseases that are mainly prevalent in tropical areas and affect nearly 1.7 billion people worldwide. Lymphatic Filariasis is a debilitating NTD that affects several people in India. To end Lymphatic Filariasis in India, health workers in select parts of the country will be making door-to-door home visits to administer a combination of drugs aimed at ending the transmission of the disease.
